Leyland Society of Model Engineers Trains operate in Worden Park, Leyland every Sunday between 12noon & 3pm (Weather Permitting). Steam and Diesel trains operate depending upon availability.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

RULES AND SAFETY ON THE TRAINS 🚂 at WORDEN PARK.

PLEASE CAN WE REMIND PEOPLE OF THE FOLLOWING -

- no smoking or va**ng on trains please
- no leaning over
- no dragging your feet on the floor
- no jumping of the train whilst moving

Also children must be accompanied by an adult

We have not set a specific age , height limit etc (yet) as this will be on a one to one basis , with a common sense approach.

We have one driver and one person sat at the back of the train with large carriages , we cannot look after all on the train if there is an incident , this is one of the reasons why we ask for adults to be present.

Also please can I remind people to be polite to our volunteers , they are just that and they provide their time and their trains free , for all you lovely people.

*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***

Gentle reminder regarding the rules whilst participating in the the train rides at worden park.

The volunteers provide their time and locomotives 🚂 FREE , to provide FREE train rides for you all.

Please see some safety rules in the picture on this post

If we ask your children to not lean over or follow the rules, we do this to protect them and to keep the trains running.

THAT SAID - we hope you all have a fab Easter 🐣 weekend and we hope to see you down there.

Hopefully the weather will be kind ☀️

Also on that note we cannot say if the trains will be running on the day via messenger , it isn’t monitored 24/7 and we won’t say yes the trains are running then 10 minutes later we have to stop 🛑 due to adverse weather, hope this makes sense.

And we also hope to have the big track up and running, which includes the accessibility carriage.

Can I ask a favour please since we came into the Facebook world 🌎 😂 2019! We have 100 percent 💯 for reviews, but only have 7!!! In all that time !
