The new accessible roundabout on the Park, was completed this morning. It wasn’t long before the first ‘customer’ came along.

The new accessible roundabout is now installed and the safety surface around it will go down on Monday.
The park has had its mow of the year and is looking good with spring flowers appearing and early signs of blossom.

Work on Recreation Park

Please be aware that during the week ahead, work will be taking place on the Park, to install a new Accessible Roundabout.
The area concerned, which is just inside the entrance, will be fenced off for security and safety purposes. However, everyone is advised to stay clear of the work area as a precaution.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the week - weather permitting.
All the necessary Health and Safety certificates have been received and all members of the workforce have enhanced DBS clearance.
