A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the opening of the Hope Keith Room such a success.

The community spirit was out in force, with over 100 people visiting throughout the day. What really made the event special was the variety of activities, all run by local volunteers. Many visitors stayed longer than expected, catching up with old friends, meeting new people, and enjoying the delicious food and prosecco kindly provided by the Hope Keith Villagers Trust and the Rusper Village Hall Committee.

A special thank you also goes to all the wonderful organisations and groups who gave up their Saturday to showcase the work they do within our communities. Many people commented on how much they enjoyed learning more about what you do, so a massive thank you for joining us and helping to make the day such a success.

If the buzz in the room was anything to go by, we can all look forward to creating a vibrant, well-used community space in the Hope Keith Room for years to come.

✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, supported, and celebrated this exciting new chapter with us.

Rusper Village Hall and the Hope Keith Villagers Trust has transformed the former snooker room into a bright, spacious and accessible community space. The Trust has a particular focus on supporting older residents of Colgate, Faygate and Rusper, but the grand opening is for everyone. Residents of all ages are warmly invited to come along, enjoy the activities, meet local organisations and share their ideas for this wonderful new space.

This is a shared space for all three villages, and we would love residents from Colgate, Faygate and Rusper to come and see what it has to offer. If you would like to join an activity, volunteer to help, run a new group or already have a group looking for a daytime venue, this open day is for you.

Everyone is warmly welcome!🎉☕🍰🗣🫂🧘🍰☕🎉
