Good luck to all young farmers who are competing at the Royal Highland Show this weekend!

Make sure to come along and support Lesmahagow in numerous events which are listed below ⬇️

💚 National Photography - displayed in the SAYFC marquee all week

💚 National Stockmanship - 5 of our members will be stockjudging across Saturday and results will be announced on Saturday evening

💚 National Tug of War - we have a gents team pulling on Saturday afternoon

Last week we held our annual mock auction at Low Boreland Farm by kind permission of the MacColl Family!

It was a fun night for all who attended with some extremely questionable bidding and the results were as follows:

Last weekend we had both a ladies and gents team make their way to West TOW at Newmilns Show!

It was a great day for the club with the gents placing 2nd and earning their place at National at the Royal Highland Show 🥈

We hope to see everyone there cheering the team along and good luck to everyone who is joining us at National 💚

A massive thank you must go to Zara and Gail for helping us out to make up the girls team and as always we are grateful for the ongoing help and expertise from our trainers Alan Haddow and David Armstrong ⭐️

A massive thank you to everyone that braved the rain last night to join us for our volleyball tournament in conjunction with East Kilbride!

🐮 Lesmahagow Show 🐮

Another successful show for the club this year!

Our gazebo was kept busy with face painting and a tombola all day. It is great to see so many future members coming along to see us 🤩

We also had some members taking part in the tug of war competition- a great experience to let keen members practise live pulling 🪢

Our charity this year is The Canmore Trust and to fundraise 10 of our members took part in a charity auction! It was greatly supported with bids reaching a whopping £1200 for the trio of Bells! In total we are proud to announce that £3840 was raised! We must thank everyone who got involved including the winning and under bidders, as well as Robert Harvie who ably auctioneered on the evening 💚

The day was finished off with our annual show dance which was not one to miss. A massive thank you must go to DJ Hugh for keeping everyone dancing up all night long and to everyone who came along 🕺
