🌍 Great Big Green Week 2026 - What a Week! 🌱

That’s a wrap on Great Big Green Week 2026 and what an amazing week it’s been!

Here are just some of our highlights:

🚲 Pedal to Zero Day
Plenty of bikes were brought back to life with repairs and tune-ups, ready to hit the road again!

🔧 Repair Café Success
We fixed 10 items, including a lawnmower and a carpet cleaner, saving them from landfill and giving them a second life.

🌳 Foster a Forest Launch
A fantastic start, with lots of trees already fostered! We can’t wait to get planting later this year.
Missed out? Don’t worry, we’ll be announcing a second collection date soon, so keep an eye on our page!

🎬 Film Screening: Power Station
A brilliant evening with 30 attendees, followed by an engaging panel discussion with lots of thoughtful questions.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, supported our events, and got involved, we couldn’t have done it without you 💚

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

As we wrap up 2025, we’re proud to reflect on some of NZL’s key achievements this year:

✨ Launching 3 successful Energy Advice Hubs.
✨ Publishing 'A Net Zero Pathway for Leiston' in July.
✨ Launching Pedal to Zero and seeing our bikes in use.
✨Having a 'Save Energy. Save Money. Save Leiston' week to promote energy saving initiatives.

Following a successful 2025, we have high hopes for 2026 as we continue to champion sustainability, support local initiatives, and work together to create a greener future for Leiston and beyond.
