The residents and visitors at Wing View Care Centre were entertained to a medley of Christmas songs and carols by Fiona Harrison. Fiona was accompanied by the residents singing and dancing. Wing View is really are getting into the festive spirit.

OSJCT Buckinghamshire Care Homes Celebrate 11th Annual Christmas Bake-Off at Wing View Care Centre.

The afternoon was a truly magical experience for all of our homes, sharing memories of baking Christmas treats and making lasting friendships whilst continuing a very special Christmas tradition across all of our services.

This year’s competition featured three categories: Best Design, Best Taste, and Star Baker – Best Bake. After much deliberation from the judging panel, the winners were revealed:

- Best Taste: OSJCT The Heights in Downley, who delighted the judges with their square fruit cake adorned with beautiful floral designs.
- Best Design: Chesham Leys in Chesham, with two stunning fruit cakes, each featuring a festive snow theme.
- Star Baker – Best Bake: Chesham Leys again took the top prize, impressing judges with their exceptional baking skills.

Thank you to special guest Luke The Baker Boy for helping us with the joyful yet difficult task of choosing our winners.

We had the loveliest visit from our friends at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Wing. The children sang songs, chatted with our residents, and brought so much joy into the home. There were smiles all round, a truly heartwarming morning. 💛✨
