Term’s restarting.
Life’s getting busy again.
And your child is back at Scouts.
Parents… let’s be honest.
You’re not running errands during section night.
You’re in the car.
Scrolling.
Enjoying the silence.
Calling it “me time.”
We respect that.
But just so you know… inside the Scout hut there’s:
☕ hot tea
🍪 the odd biscuit
💬 grown-up conversation
👋 other adults doing their best
Volunteering at Scouts isn’t about uniforms or knots.
It’s about:
• escaping the house
• talking about things that aren’t Minecraft
• laughing more than you planned to
So come inside.
Stay dry.
Feel useful.
Have fun.
Scouts needs you.
(And your car will still be there after)
