Meadow Way Community Fridge is the Second Community Fridge for our town and is part of a national network of Community Fridges through a charitable organisation called The Hubbub Foundation www.hubbub.org.uk. d food businesses as the Community Fridge grows. What is a Community Fridge
A Community Fridge is a space where everyone can share surplus food, including donations from local food businesses, supermarkets, producers, households and gardens. Access is open to everyone in our community who wish to use it, either to donate surplus food that we can accept, or to access food that is available. It will help to eliminate food wastage and reduce landfill waste. Our Community Fridge is run entirely by volunteers at Leighton Linslade Helper charity (1196332) for the community. We hope you will make use of it and spread the word.

Did you know that as well as running a community fridge to save and distribute food, which is free to all, from going into landfill, we also run a social supermarket where we sell items for half price or less to help cover our running costs? Well look no further. Here are items you can find at Meadow Way Community Centre and the Community Fridge in Town this week.
