A great opportunity for Westleigh Methodist school to show the Chalncellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves and M8nister for Culture, Lisa Nandy how the partnership with AllChild has worked so positively

We’ve teamed up with AllChild to launch the Better Futures Fund, which will support up to 200,000 vulnerable children and their families over the next ten years by bringing together government, local communities, charities, social enterprises, investors and philanthropists to work together to give children a brighter future.

It could fund support in schools to improve attendance, behaviour, and overall achievement, intervening to free children from a life of crime, and offering employment support to secure their futures.

Chancellor Rachel Reevesl and Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy visited a school near Wigan today to talk about the fund, which is also backed by Save the Children UK, The King's Trust and Blavatnik School of Government.

The last 2 days we have held our annual Headteacher conference. The theme for the conference was ‘for such a time of this’. Once again we have been blown away by the dedication, skills and teamwork between all the leaders. We have laughed a lot, dreamed, and planned together. We are excited to grow and develop together. We forgot to take photos so sharing a couple of key phrases we used.
