It's our Birthday!!!!

We are absolutely thrilled to say that North West Computer Museum are celebrating our 3rd anniversary today! Over the last 3 years we have welcomed thousands of visitors, shared countless memories, introduced new generations to the history of computing and built and amazing community of volunteers, supporters and tech enthusiasts. It has been an incredible journey so far and we have so much planned and going on behind the scenes, ready for the next year, so watch this space for updates.

Most importantly we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited, volunteered, donated, shared our posts, recommended us or simply supported us along the way. North West Computer Museum would not be what it is today without you guys and we appreciate you all so much 💙

Here's to the next level up, and to many more years of creating, experiencing and learning together!

We are feeling very generous, so anyone visiting us on Wednesday 3rd June will get free entry! There may even be a slice of cake included (until we run out that is!). The museum, cafe and iCafe will be open 10am-8pm so there is plenty of time to get down and make the most of it.

Can't make it on the 3rd? No problem at all! Just like, comment and share this post and we will choose one random winner to receive either single unlimited free entry for the whole of June OR a free one day family pass to use in June - whichever is most useful to you.

It's time for another Leigh Spinners Mill shoutout.

This week we are putting the spotlight on Limited Edition: The Table Top Tavern who are an amazing tabletop gaming centre. Whether you fancy a night of board games, Trench Crusade, Gaslands, Magic The Gathering or you need a DM to take you on an amazing Dungeons and Dragons adventure - Anton has you covered. I mean, he even runs a Star Trek session for us Trekkers (or Trekkies - let's not cause any arguments!) so there are no ends to his talents!

Opening times are:
Tuesday - Friday 4pm-10pm
Sunday 2pm-10pm
Snacks and drinks are always available

Happy weekend everyone!

A quick reminder that today (Saturday 30th May) we will be closing slightly earlier than usual at 3pm to ensure our volunteers have plenty of time to get to our friends, Lottery Winners gig. We will be open as usual on Sunday - 10am-4pm.

As usual the cafe and iCafe will be open and serving hot and cold food and drinks for anyone who will be visiting the mill. And before you ask - yes, slushies are back on the menu!

NOTICE - Saturday 30th May

On Saturday 30th May our amazing volunteers are heading out to watch our friendsThe Lottery Winners at Leigh Sports Village. This means that the museum will be closing at 3pm sharp, to give everyone time to get dolled up and get there!

The museum, cafe and iCafe will be open as usual throughout the day, so there is still plenty of time to pop in for a visit.
