💚 CALLING ALL LOCAL CREATIVES, ARTISTS & CULTURE LOVERS! 💚

We know our lovely City is bursting with creativity, talent and wonderful things going on… so let's get it all on the map!

Join us at The IronWorks on Sunday 22nd November, 2-4pm, as we come together to create a community arts and culture map, celebrating the brilliant creative people, places, groups and activities right on our doorstep.

🎨 Artists, makers & galleries
🎭 Theatre & performance groups
🎤 Open mics, music & poetry nights
📸 Photographers & creative collectives
🖌️ Workshops, classes & studio spaces
📚 Book clubs, socials & community groups
💚 Charities & creative organisations

And anything else we've missed - everyone is welcome!

The aim is to create a physical community resource that makes our local arts and culture scene easier to discover and access, whether you're an emerging creative, an established artist or simply enjoy getting involved.

It's also a lovely opportunity to meet like-minded people, share what you're doing, discover new opportunities and make connections within our creative community.

If you have business cards, posters, flyers, pamphlets or newsletters, please bring them along! We'll provide the base materials.

- The IronWorks, Leigh Community Centre
- Sunday 22nd November 2026
- 2pm-4pm

💚 And why not pop along a little earlier to enjoy the Leigh-on-Sea Pop-up Market, taking place across the weekend!

Let's put our wonderful local creative community on the map! 💚

We are absolutely over the moon to announce that, thanks to a FANTASTIC £450 donation from the wonderful Leigh on Sea Lions Club - CIO alongside our recent fundraising activities, our Gift of Christmas Campaign has now raised a whopping £1,200!! 💚

That means we can provide 80 completely FREE Father Christmas experiences for local children and families who might not otherwise be able to afford a little Christmas magic!

We're working with local organisations to make sure these places reach families who really need them, including those facing difficult circumstances or financial hardship.

✨ And to our lovely Ironworks friends and families…

If you're struggling financially this Christmas and would love to bring your little ones to see Father Christmas, PLEASE get in touch.

No questions asked. No explanations needed. Just a little Christmas magic, from us to you. ❤️

Simply email [email protected].

AND WE'RE NOT STOPPING THERE…..

We're still fundraising! If you'd like to help, pop into The Ironworks to make a donation, join one of our fundraising events or have a go on our raffles.

The more we raise, the more Christmas gifts we can give! 🎅

80 children. 80 magical experiences. 80 very big smiles… and hopefully many more to come! 🎅✨
