We were delighted to be part of this session! A huge thank you for the warm welcome. Supporting and inspiring the next generation is so important, and it was fantastic to talk about the wide range of careers available at EMR and across the rail industry. We look forward to welcoming some of these students onto the railway in the future! πŸš†πŸŒŸ

Today we were delighted to invite Nancy and Steve from East Midlands Rail to talk to students at our Ruskington campus about careers within EMR. Thank you for a really interesting and engaging talk and inspiring the next generation of EMR employees!

We had a lovely day with Friends of Beeston Station and Network Rail painting the wall at Beeston Station,

Together, we gave the station wall a fresh coat of paint, preparing it for an exciting new piece of artwork that will soon brighten up the station and celebrate railway heritage - watch this space!

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to help.

It’s not just the big events taking place this β€” we must never forget our incredible army of Station Adopters who work tirelessly week in, week out to keep our stations looking their very best. 🌼🌿

Today, the Chesterfield Rotary Station Adopters are out in force planting up their brand-new planters. Under the watchful eye of master gardener .garden.kitchen, the group is creating a garden that will not only support wildlife and brighten the station environment, but also tell the story of Chesterfield itself.

A huge thank you to NT Killingley Ltd and Network Rail for their support in helping bring this project to life. Without their assistance, this garden simply would not exist.

A huge thank you to the teams from Siemens and Porterbrook Leasing who joined our wonderful Station Adopters. Together they planted flowers, painted station fencing, created reptile habitats by moving rocks, and tackled plenty of weeding around the station.

The station is looking fantastic and ready to welcome visitors. If you're planning a trip, Matlock Bath station is fully step-free and just a short walk from the town centre and popular attractions, including The Heights of Abraham - find out more at: https://derwentvalleyline.org.uk/stations/matlock-bath/
