Community garden project A Place To Grow is holding its annual family open garden on Saturday 27th June 2026 at 11am - 2pm! 🌻

There's lots going on including:

Menopause Cafe, South Wigston is returning Thursday 25th June. This free, drop-in space will run from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Elliott Hall.

A Menopause Cafe is a discussion group, open to all ages and genders: no talks, no experts, topics are chosen by participants.

We still have a few spaces remaining for the up and coming Steady steps programme in Oadby this month.



Steady Steps is a FREE 24-week course of weekly classes and home-based exercise aimed at adults age 65+ who feel unsteady on their feet and want to improve their mobility.



These programmes are delivered by specialist Postural Stability Instructors (PSIs) and are proven to improve strength, balance, fitness and confidence among participants, while reducing their risk of falls.

FREE park tennis on Sundays! A Barclays Free Park Tennis session will now take place every Sunday from 10am-11am at Uplands Park, Oadby and is open to all, with coaches on hand to help if you’re looking for advice to up your game.
