🌊✨ SeaVenturers Eyres Monsell are you ready! ✨🌊
After half term, we’re diving straight into some exciting hands-on activities! 🚀

This week, our young adventurers will be experimenting with drag and friction 🔍, discovering how things move and why. We are also learning how to care for our planet, when we are outdoors 🌍💚

👫 We still have a spaces available for children aged 9–11 years, so if your young person loves exploring, learning new skills, and having fun with friends, come join us!

🌊 SeaVenturers Eyres Monsell – Back This Friday ! 🌊
We’re delighted to be welcoming our SeaVenturers and volunteers back this Friday 17th April from 4.30pm to 6.00pm following the Easter break 🐣⚓

This week’s session will focus on recognising individual strengths through a team‑building activity 🤝💪, helping young people grow in confidence while working positively with others. We’ll also be running a Keep Active session 🏃‍♂️ to encourage healthy movement and wellbeing in a fun, supportive way.

We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone again and kicking off with energy and teamwork 💙

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our amazing young people, and families for your continued support 💙

Please note that Eyres Monsell SeaVenturers will be closed for the Easter holiday on Friday 10th April 🐣

We’ll be back as usual on Friday 17th April, from 4.30pm to 6pm, ready for more adventures! 🌊🚤

We hope you all have a lovely, restful Easter and enjoy spending time with family and friends 🌷✨

Last Friday was full of creativity and adventure! Our group got arty by designing a bright, colourful banner to celebrate Eid al‑Fitr, learning what Ramadan means and why this special celebration takes place.

Afterwards, we headed outdoors for a mini‑expedition!
The children practised using a compass, explored different maps, worked with coordinates to find hidden treasure. We also shared fun travel stories and talked about places we’d love to visit.

Today is a very special day… Eid‑Al‑Fitr! 🎉
We’re going to learn all about this wonderful celebration and then
we’re heading outside to hunt for treasure using a compass!

Last Friday, we explored the fascinating History of the Navy and Merchant Navy in the UK, discovering how Royal Navy ships protected our coastline, chased away pirates, and supported brave explorers on their journeys into the unknown. ⛵️⚓️

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be celebrating Women’s History Month, as well as Ramadan and Eid, with a range of activities.
Expect teamwork challenges, hands‑on experiments with lenses, and plenty of opportunities for creativity, learning, and fun!
