One world, One people, One love ❤️

Culture is at its best when it’s celebrated together. ❤️🖤💛💚

Carnival has always been about more than feathers, costumes and music.

From its Caribbean roots to the emergence of Notting Hill Carnival following the racial tensions of the late 1950s, carnival has always been a celebration of identity, resilience and community. It was created to bring people together, challenge prejudice and proudly celebrate Caribbean culture.

That spirit is just as important today.

We believe there is a world of difference between appropriation and celebration. Celebration means embracing carnival with respect, understanding its history, honouring its traditions and standing alongside the communities that have kept this culture alive for generations.

As we look ahead to Leicester Caribbean Carnival 2027, we’re inviting troupes from across the UK to join us for another unforgettable celebration of Caribbean culture, creativity and community.

Whether you’re returning to Leicester or joining us for the first time, we’d love to welcome you to the road.

Register your interest today:

Let’s continue building a carnival where culture is honoured, communities are united, and everyone celebrates together with respect.

💛 National Sisters Day 💛

Today is a chance to celebrate the people who stand beside us - whether they’re sisters, friends, neighbours, or people we’ve met along the way who feel like family.

At b inspired, we see these connections every day.

In our groups, activities and shared spaces, people come together, support each other, and build relationships that make a real difference to their wellbeing.

Sometimes it starts with a simple conversation…
and grows into friendship, trust, and ongoing support.

💬 Having someone by your side can make things feel more manageable - and a little less lonely.

Today, we’re celebrating all the “sister-like” connections that help make our community stronger 💛
