A few brilliant pics of our end of play scheme fun day, had a great afternoon and kids had so much fun but everyone ended up absolutely filthy covered in colour powder.
Want to say a massive thank you to all our visitors
Lord Mayor of Leicester who enjoyed beating the kids at pool, deputy Mayor Susan Barton, The guys from the BBC and Dr Ranj who were absolutely lovely 😊 and all the staff and volunteers that have worked so so hard this summer. 🥵

Summer Funday at the playground on Friday 21st Aug to finish our very busy summer play-scheme, sports, arts and crafts, inflatables, face paint, colour dash activities and a amazing visit from Lord Mayor of Leicester.

Lovely chilled afternoon made different choice of cobs with loads and loads of different fruit and veg….as I was dying yesterday making 50 toasties… kids did sports, arts and crafts, waterfight, high jump, swing ball to name a few activities.
Next week is the last week of our summer playscheme, we will have had over 2000 kids attending over the 6 weeks.
We are all knackered to be honest, but so much fun. 😀

Kids have loads of fruit today 2 big watermelons, 2 big punnets of strawberries plus oranges and cucumbers it’s amazing over time if you keep offering them stuff their palate changes instead of “what snacks do you have Mel “ to what fruit and veg we got today.
