Home-Start Horizons Home-Start is a charity. We provide a unique service, training volunteers to work with families in their own homes.

Home-Start Horizons works with families in Leicester City, Charnwood, Melton, Rutland, Blaby District, Oadby and Wigston. We are a voluntary organisation that supports families with young children in Leicestershire and Rutland. We support families by providing home-visiting volunteers, family support groups and specialist post natal illness support.

Even the youngest babies have their own unique personalities.

Some are adventurous and curious. Some are cautious and observant. Some love being around lots of people. Others prefer quieter moments.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to parenting.

Getting to know your baby as an individual helps build trust, confidence and connection. The more we notice what makes them uniquely them, the stronger our relationship becomes.
