Our Fashion Design course is open to young people aged 16–19, or up to 25 with an EHCP. Whether it's illustration, garment construction or concept development, YEP! is the space to build skills, express ideas and work towards a recognised qualification.

We were proud to take part in the Connecting with Purpose session recently, linking up with professionals from Barclays for a focused, forward-thinking exchange.

Our Directors, Lee and Ken, shared the story behind YEP! and the impact we've built over the years. In return, we gained valuable advice from a brilliant group of Barclays colleagues, covering everything from strategy and governance to marketing and operations.

It was a positive, practical session full of ideas we can take forward. Big thanks to the team at Barclays for sharing your time, your knowledge and your support.

When schools and services closed for the summer, we stayed open 💪

From creative workshops to career sessions, drop-ins to off-site visits, we clocked over 30,000 minutes of hands-on activity and support for young people across Leicester 🕒

That’s hundreds of hours where our doors were open, our team was present and young people had somewhere safe, welcoming and inspiring to be.

At the end of August, a group of YEP! learners took on their Bronze The Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition, and smashed it 🥾👏

With support from Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre, our young people packed their own gear, navigated their routes, set up camp and walked miles across some of Leicestershire’s most scenic countryside. There were some blisters, soaked boots and tough hills, but also laughs, teamwork and a massive sense of pride at the finish line.

They challenged themselves, stuck it out and proved what they're capable of 💪

Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen, and big shoutout to our learners for pushing through!
