Our Scouts, with Scouts from Glenfield, were on hand to help with the Run Leicester Festival this morning, handing water to runners as they passed by us. Thank you to all the Scouts, and well done to all the runners!

It’s a similar situation for all our leaders: washing machines on, cars emptied and showers at the ready without having to wash the floor first!

Thanks to those who came to help us unload the van today. We hope you all had a good night’s sleep last night and have managed to tell all the stories from your time at camp. It really was a great week.

Thanks also go to 88th Leicester Scout Group for inviting us to join them this year. Who knows, we might be invited back next year….. Watch this space!

We’ve had a great week at camp! Thank you to all the leaders who’ve supported us and given up their week. Our Scouts have gone home tired but with huge smiles on their faces and memories to last forever. Our leaders are sitting in the mess tent singing karaoke! We’re looking forward to showers with shelves, not finding packs of food in the freezer box that we were meant to cook the meal before, and not finding empty toilet roll dispensers at 7am! Until next time!

Hope everyone got home safe from camp . 🏕️ The Leaders have just enjoyed a pub meal with tables that don’t wobble, a flat floor , clean toilets and soap and nobody singing that song. 🎵 Please come and help us unload the van tomorrow, we’re all a little jaded. 😊
