🌟 An Amazing Evening with the Scouts at Leicester South Foodbank 🌟

Last night I had the pleasure of volunteering with a brilliant group of Scouts who came to visit our Leicester South Foodbank warehouse — and they were absolutely amazing!

They got stuck into the tasks, asked thoughtful questions, and showed real enthusiasm for learning how food banks work and how we support our community. Their teamwork and energy made the whole evening a joy, even as we worked right through until 9pm!

A huge well done to every Scout who took part. 👏
It’s inspiring to see young people engaging with local charities and wanting to make a difference.

🍰🧁A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Community!🧁🍰

On Saturday 14th, we held a cake sale to raise funds for our charity — and I’m absolutely thrilled to share that in just three hours, we raised £751.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, bakers, donors, and everyone who stopped by to buy a slice (or three!). Your kindness, energy, and generosity truly made the morning special.

Events like this remind me how powerful community can be when we come together with purpose and heart. Thank you for helping us make a real difference.

Here’s to many more moments like this and to the wonderful people who make them happen.
