MSDUK is the only organisation in the UK that certifies Ethnic Minority Business (EMBs). Certification ensures that EMBs that join MSDUK meet all the minimum criteria of the definition set by MSDUK. Certification gives EMBs access to 1-2-1 meetings, regular referrals and allows our corporate members to measure spend with access to global markets through our international network.

From milestone celebrations to successful cohort completions, it’s been a fantastic period across MSDUK programmes and partnerships. 🚀

Through our programmes and collaborations, we continue to support businesses in strengthening capability, increasing procurement readiness and building confidence for growth.

Some highlights from recent activity:

🔶 Minority Business Matters, delivered with Heart of the City, celebrated its 3 Year Anniversary Reunion at Westminster Business School, bringing together businesses, facilitators and partners to reflect on progress, shared experiences and programme impact.

🔶 The second Southwark Supplier Readiness cohort, delivered with Southwark Council and Heart of the City, concluded after supporting 39 Southwark based SMEs through procurement readiness and business growth sessions.

🔶 Through Pathway to High Growth, delivered with Heart of the City as part of our Minority Business Matters initiative, participants shared positive feedback on pitching confidence and B2B readiness, with 100% of respondents rating the overall programme experience 4/5 or higher.

We’re proud to continue delivering initiatives that equip ambitious businesses with the tools, knowledge and opportunities to grow and succeed.

It was a pleasure to join AIG to support Bag, helping pack school bags for children affected by crisis, conflict or natural disasters.

A few reflections from the day:
• Simple resources can have life changing impact
• Purpose led partnerships can create meaningful social value
• When businesses come together to give back, communities benefit

It was fantastic to see the MSDUK community and the AIG team volunteering side by side for such an important cause.
