Interesting case study (of Birmingham Council) to learn that defensive culture (towards public, by NOT sharing bad news) as well as blaming culture (among the colleagues, staff) could bring down & make 156m£ org. Bankrupt!!

Chanda lives in the village of Shangobeka, , as part of a rural community which has benefited from IFAD's support 🇿🇲

Until recently, she had to walk a long distance to fetch water, leaving home before dawn and crossing thick forest and a dangerous main road – and even then, there was no guarantee that she would find it. But with this new solar power borehole established near her village, things have changed for the better. Now Chanda can easily come to the borehole to collect water whenever she needs it💧
