The Go-Ahead Youth Youth-led community organisation based in Leicester that works BME young people 16-25 years old. Current project Promote Healthy Livving

The Go-Ahead Youth is established for the benefit of young BME people up to the age of 25 that live in Leicester and nearby areas. These are the main target group T.G.Y works with. The aims of the Group shall be as follows:

To empower and work with hard to reach BME young people - The Group aims to provide training and resources which allows the targeted group to advance themselves as individual

s and to also make them realise and eventually achieve their full potential. To provide leadership opportunities - T.G.Y builds up networks and work alongside groups, individuals and organisations that have a similar vision or related objectives. To create a platform for discussion among BME young people on issues that affect their welfare – T.G.Y provides assistance, advice and activities that enable the BME young people to express their views and concerns.
