"On the Night of Qadr, Jibrail (alayhi's salām) descends with a multitude of angels, and they pray for forgiveness for every servant who is engaged in dhikr (remembrance) of Allāh ﷻ, whether standing or sitting."

"Whoever possesses these three qualities, Allāh will grant him entry into Jannah, show him His love, and place him under His protection: one who is grateful when given something, one who forgives when able to exact revenge, and one who restrains his anger when provoked."

Once again, we were blessed with a wonderful Iftar gathering at the Freer Centre, where both the ladies’ and men’s sections were full. Alhamdulillah, our community is coming together with unity and dedication as we work towards acquiring our own community hub.

Rasūlallāh ﷺ said:

"Fasting is a shield against Fire (and all vice acts). When one of you is fasting, he should neither behave in an obscene manner nor be foolish. If someone reviles them (using vulgar speech) or quarrels with them, he should say, 'I am fasting' (avoiding any obscene talk)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صلى اللّٰه عليه وِسِلم - " مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، بَاعَدَ
اللَّهُ، بِذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، النَّارَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ سَبْعَينَ خَرِيفًا ".
