Zupa-Saturday was a great success. Nearly half of the students from 2 classes stayed for soup. It was that good, some had more than 2 bowls. All the bread and dill were gone. Thank you Janine Kowal and Michael Kowal for serving this. We look forward doing the next one, so watch this page for the next one.

We were forced to change Zupa-Saturday on the 10th due to English lessons being cancelled. So now we are having it this coming Saturday after English lessons at 2:15PM.

A Reminder that tonight, we are hosting Pool night with Varenyky is on the menu at £5 for a plate 5.

This Friday is Pool Night at 7.30PM. Vareneky is back and for a plate 5 for £5 with Sour Cream and Dill on the side.

Lord Lieutenant Visit to the Leicester Ukrainian Centre
On Saturday the 3rd of October, we were delighted to welcome the Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire on an official visit to the Leicester Ukrainian Centre.
Following our traditional welcome of Bread and Salt, our guest went into our Main Hall and then our beautiful Church. We were able to explain a little about the background and history of Ukrainians in Leicester.
We then spent some time with each of the different classes in the Leicester Ukrainian School. It was a great opportunity for the children of different ages to ask a wide variety of interesting questions.
We finished the tour, somewhat late, with a visit to the Social Club.
We look forward to welcoming the Lord Lieutenant to our Centre again in the future!

A reminder, every first Friday of every month is Ladies Night at 7.30pm. Come along to share drinks and have a catch up with the rest of the ladies.
