Introducing: Healing Through Creativity 🌿✨
Sometimes, in the most difficult chapters of our lives, we find unexpected ways to express what we’re feeling, process what we’re going through, and find little moments of hope and beauty.
Recently, one of our clients shared something very special with us.
During the years her husband was living with cancer, and throughout her journey as his carer, she began writing poetry. Writing became a way for her to express the emotions she was carrying, cope with the difficult days, and make sense of everything around her. She describes feeling as though some of the words were simply being channelled through her.
Her poems are deeply heartfelt and incredibly moving. What struck us most was how, amongst so much heartache, she continued to notice beauty in the world around her — in butterflies, nature, family, travel, and the small moments that make up our everyday lives.
We were so touched by her words that we wanted to give them a little space of their own. 💛
We’ll be creating a small scrapbook in our reception area, where clients can take a moment to read some of her poetry. We’ll also be sharing a poem or piece of her work here on our social media every week or two — a little moment of reflection, encouragement or inspiration for anyone who might need it.
And we’d love to open this up to you, too. 🌸
If you have written poetry, a piece of writing, created a painting, drawing, photograph, artwork, or anything else that has helped you through a difficult time, brought you joy, offered you hope, or simply captured something beautiful, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
With your permission, we may share your work in our reception scrapbook or on our social media, so that your creativity might bring a little light to someone else’s day.
If you’d like to contribute, please email your work to:

Sometimes, the things we create from our own experiences can become a source of comfort for someone else. ❤️
We hope this little project can become a collection of words, images, creativity and moments of hope — shared by our clients and our wider community.
You never know who might need to see what you have created. 🌿
