E2 has a long-term dream to help bring free, regular football opportunities to disadvantaged young people in Beaumont Leys.

We may have identified a potential opportunity to explore the development of proper football provision in the area, potentially including access to a full-size pitch and changing facilities.

However, we are very aware that this is not our area of expertise.

Before anything moves forward, we would really value advice and guidance from people with experience in:

Grassroots football
Coaching
Sports development
Planning
Funding
Pitch maintenance
Community sports facilities

At this stage, we are not making promises or asking for money. We are simply trying to understand what is realistic, what is needed, and how something like this could be done properly for the benefit of local young people.

If you have relevant experience, or know someone who does, please get in touch.

🎤 E2 Youth Showcase 2026: Celebrating Young Talent 🎶

What an incredible afternoon at Beaumont Shopping Centre!

Our Youth Showcase brought together talented young singers, musicians, dancers and performers from across Leicester, giving them the opportunity to share their creativity, build confidence and take centre stage.

The event included 17 performance slots, with at least 18 young performers taking part and around 130 to 150 people involved or engaged throughout the afternoon.

A huge thank you to every young person who performed. Your talent, courage and commitment made the event truly special. We would also like to thank the families, volunteers, partners and members of the public who came along to support them.

Special thanks to Beaumont Shopping Centre, Soft Touch Arts, Pedestrian, Zamzam Unlimited, Aspect Studios, our event host MC Shadee, and everyone who helped make the showcase possible.

This video captures just some of the brilliant performances, certificate moments and memories from the day.

Powering Up Grassroots Talent was supported using public funding by Arts Council England and made possible thanks to National Lottery players.

👏 Well done to every young person who took part. We are incredibly proud of you all.
