Wishing a joyous and blessed Eid Mubarak to all our volunteers and/or community members celebrating! 🌙✨As we observe Eid al-Adha (27–29 May 2026), we mark one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar.

Following the sacred annual pilgrimage to Mecca, this three-day celebration is a special time for prayer, family, and deep reflection.

At its heart, this holy occasion is rooted in charitable giving and compassion for those in need.

Huge thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund .....
Earlier this month, we were thrilled to announce funding for our Combatting Cost of Living project. This weekend, we took that support into action by hosting a thought-provoking focus group, listening to the real, lived experiences of people in our community navigating these challenging times. We have a clearer picture of how difficult things are right now regarding rising costs.

We know that rising costs for food, energy, and essentials are putting immense pressure on local families. With this vital funding, we are continuing our commitment—running strong since COVID-19—to provide crucial support, outreach, and food provision to those who need it most.
After hearing such valuable insights this weekend, Golden Careers Foundation is happy with the direction the project is taking to offer real, tangible support to our community.

Great news!

We are proud to share that Golden Careers Foundation has been awarded funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to support our “Combatting Cost of Living” project.

We know these are incredibly difficult times for many in our community, with rising costs of food, energy, and everyday essentials placing real pressure on individuals and families. This funding will help us continue providing vital support, ensuring people are not left behind during this challenging period.

Since COVID-19, we have been committed to supporting our community through food provision, welfare support, and outreach to those most in need. This funding strengthens our ability to continue that mission and reach even more people.

Arnold Clark, Great news! We are excited to inform our community that we have received more funding to support our causes. We want to thank Arnold Clark Community Fund and other organisations for their continued support in addressing our community's issues. The fund will be used to support the vulnerable young adults in our community through writing and oratory, helping them express themselves and build confidence through creative writing.
