Caravan of Mercy trustees will be distributing food to poor and needy families in Liberia tommorrow and Wednesday 19th August 2026. With your help they hope to feed 500 widow & single mother families. 1 sack of rice will last approximately 2 weeks (breakfast, lunch and supper).

Caravan of Mercy trustees are currently (August 2026) in Liberia with the task of reviewing our many existing projects there. These include Masjid construction, children's education as well as food and water distribution. Molana Ebrahim and brother Ahmed Ali will be present at the official opening of three mosques which Caravan of Mercy donors helped to construct this year. Next Tuesday/Wednesday the trustees will be distributing food to poor and needy local Liberians. Rice is the staple food in The Gambia and so this week we are appealing for your Jumu'ah Sadaqah for widows and single mothers. Give £10 now so that we can give a 25kg sacks to needy families.

Next week our focus will be on feeding the Rohingya refugees in Chittagong in Bangladesh who have recently suffered from the local devastating floods.

Fridays are one of the best days for giving Sadaqah.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Allah, the Exalted, says, ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.” [Bukhari & Muslim]

The Prophet ﷺ also said, “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” [Tirmidhi]
