Salt of the Earth is a charity based in Leicester, that supports rural development projects in Tamil Nadu, India. Through your generous donations, Salt of the Earth is able to fund multiple live changing projects across Southern India.
We believe that effective, efficient and sustainable development can only be achieved by working directly with our local partners in India. Every aspect of our project work relies on their local knowledge, expertise and actions.
Over the years, we have funded water generation and purification projects, educational programmes, Health projects, Women’s empowerment programmes, Environmental projects and have supported the set up of hundreds of Women’s Self Help Groups. Your donations are changing lives.
