Child labour continues to rob many children of their right to education, safety, and a proper childhood. Poverty and vulnerability push many into work instead of school, exposing them to harsh and unsafe conditions.

On this World Day Against Child Labour, we stand in solidarity with every child who deserves protection, dignity, and the chance to learn and dream.

Clean water is now flowing in Swala Village, T/A Nyambi, Machinga District.

What was once a daily struggle for many families has been replaced with a reliable source of safe water close to home. This newly installed borehole is serving more than 250 families, providing water for drinking, cooking, washing, and household gardens.

Beyond meeting an essential need, access to clean water supports healthier homes, improved hygiene, and stronger communities.

Alhamdulillah, this project is already making a lasting difference in the lives of families in Swala Village.

Today is the Day of Arafah. A day where mercy is vast, forgiveness is near, and du’as carry weight beyond what we can see.

And as this day passes, a beautiful continuation begins. Takbir al-Tashreeq, starting from the Fajr of Arafah and continuing until the Asr of the 13th of Dhul Hijjah.

It is a reminder that Eid is not only celebration…but remembrance.

Keep your tongue in takbir.
Keep your heart in gratitude.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah.
