WALL would like to say a huge thank you to Leicester High School for Girls for their incredible donation of store cupboard food items and essential supplies to support our clients. 💜

Each year, we are blessed to receive a carload of donations through the school's Harvest Festival collection. These much needed items help us support both new clients arriving in refuge and current clients who may be facing financial difficulties.

We are always amazed by the thought, care, and hard work that goes into the Harvest Festival boxes, and we especially love seeing the beautifully decorated boxes each year! 📦✨

Your generosity makes a real difference to the clients we support, helping to ensure they have access to everyday essentials during challenging times.

It is always wonderful to receive positive feedback from our clients and to know that having a larger family is not a barrier to accessing refuge accommodation. 💜

One of our clients shared that when she fled domestic abuse, she was worried that WALL would not be able to accommodate her family due to it's size. She was also concerned about having to share communal spaces during such a difficult and uncertain time.

This is why WALL offers a range of dispersed safe accommodation options, ensuring that we can meet the diverse needs of clients and their children seeking safety and support 🏡

Since coming into refuge, she and her family have received support in many areas, including food bank referrals, travel assistance, housing support, and help for her children. This support has made a real difference to the family's journey as they rebuild their lives.

Stories like these remind us why our work matters. Everyone deserves access to safety, support, and the opportunity to look forward to a brighter future. 💜

Do you have an old smartphone you don't use anymore? You can donate it at any of our Active Leicester leisure centres to help someone escaping domestic abuse. Donated smartphones just need to be working and reset to factory settings. Thank you for helping Freeva and Active Leicester to support those who need it 🙏💖

WALL would like to say a huge thank you to Pari, the Community Champion at Tesco Beaumont Leys, for her overwhelming donation of pumpkins for our clients. 🎃

Thanks to this generous donation, our clients and their children are going to have great fun getting messy, creative, and carving pumpkins together this Halloween. Your support helps create special memories and bring smiles to so many families.
