Rahma Mercy Rahma (Mercy) is a UK registered charity. In addition to this we also run seasonal projects; distributing food on the occasions of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Adha.

Rahma (Mercy) was founded in the year 1999 in response to the plight of the refugees whom were fleeing from the war in Kosovo. We have since grown, from our humble beginning as a group of 13 volunteers setting out for a journey via road in an Aid Convoy, to becoming a UK registered Charity and and an NGO in Kosovo and Albania. We are currently providing aid and support to 5 different countries in

the Balkans; Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia. We work with international partners whom are based in South Africa, Australia and Singapore, alongside collaboration with national partners based here in the UK.With the support of our generous donors we have been able to complete many successful projects in areas such as; Housing, Water Sanitation, Food Aid, Education, Community Re-development, Orphan Sponsorship and Mosque Construction.

As the new month begins, we are reminded of the greatest gift given to humanity- the sending of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as a pure mercy to all creation.

True love for the Messenger (ﷺ) is demonstrated through daily emulation. It is found in how we manage our anger, how we speak to our parents, how honest we are in business, and how much mercy we show to those around us.

May Allah allow us to embody his character and grant us his intercession on the Day of Reckoning. Aameen.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that when the sun or moon eclipses, our hearts should turn toward worship, reflection, and good deeds. Here are 5 Sunnah actions to put into practice when it happens:

Pray Salah al-Kusuf: Offer the eclipse prayer in congregation with humility and attentiveness.
Make Dua: Supplicate to Allah sincerely and seek His forgiveness.
Recite the Qur’an: Increase your recitation of the Qur’an and engage in Dhikr (remembrance of Allah).
Give Sadaqah: Give charity with the intention of seeking Allah’s protection and mercy.
Encourage Others: Remind your family and friends to participate in the Sunnah actions taught by our beloved Prophet ﷺ.

Forty years ago, an imam raised his hands and made a single, sincere dua, that one day, in Albania, where faith had been outlawed, that Islam will spread once again.
He never saw it built. But Allah heard.

The Rahma Institute is that dua, answered. A place where the children of Albania, a nation once declared the world’s first atheist state, now learn the Qur’an, their history, and their worth, out loud and unafraid.

Subhan’Allah, what feels impossible to us is never impossible to Him. That imam’s whisper into the dark became bricks, classrooms, and futures.
May Allah accept this from him. May He accept it from every hand that builds it. And may He write us among the answer to someone’s forgotten dua. Ameen.

In Islam, seeking halal rizq is not separate from worship, it is worship when pursued with the right intention.

The believer doesn’t chase wealth for status, comfort, or recognition. They seek it as a means to fulfil their responsibilities, preserve their dignity, provide for their family, give generously, and invest in what benefits them long after this life has ended.

Wealth is never the measure of success. It’s a test. It can either distract the heart from Allah or become a means of drawing closer to Him. The difference lies in how it is earned, how it is spent, and, above all, the intention behind it.

When your work is honest, your earnings are halal, and your purpose is to seek the pleasure of Allah, even your daily efforts can carry the weight of worship.

May Allah grant us pure provision, place barakah in what He gives us, and make this dunya a bridge to the Akhirah rather than a destination. Ameen.
