Charity Link Working since 1876 to ensure people in need are warm, safe and fed and have the basic essential items they need for a decent standard of living.

We now support over 5,000 each year in Leics, Rutland and Northants. With the support of the local community, we help people and children who are experiencing hardship and crisis by providing essential items including beds, cookers, clothing and, in emergencies, food. There are numerous ways to get involved, from donating, supporting an event (or organising your own!), choosing us as your charity of the year, joining our Proud Business Supporter Club or volunteering.

Beth and Carl’s family faced an unexpected emergency when an uninsured driver crashed into their kitchen damaging some of their kitchen appliances.

They were without a working fridge freezer which they needed urgently and immediately to store fresh food and their son’s medication…

We're starting to get busy in the office preparing for this year's Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge and reminiscing about the previous events!

You could be part of the fun this year!

Not only will you have a fantastic day hiking through the beautiful Charnwood countryside taking on the 3 peaks of Beacon Hill, Old John at Bradgate Park and Bardon Hill, you will also be helping changing local lives by raising funds to provide essential items to people and children in need.
