Charity Link Working since 1876 to ensure people in need are warm, safe and fed and have the basic essential items they need for a decent standard of living.

We now support over 5,000 each year in Leics, Rutland and Northants. With the support of the local community, we help people and children who are experiencing hardship and crisis by providing essential items including beds, cookers, clothing and, in emergencies, food. There are numerous ways to get involved, from donating, supporting an event (or organising your own!), choosing us as your charity of the year, joining our Proud Business Supporter Club or volunteering.

Massive thanks to the 70+ Challengers who tackled this year's Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge on 27th September- which starts and ends at Beacon Hill and is a 16 mile (approx!) route around beautiful Charnwood countryside, taking in Bardon Hill, Old John in Bradgate and lots of other hills along the way.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this event such a special day, including those taking part, their friends, family and colleagues who sponsored them or came out to cheer them home, our business event supporters, and our wonderful team of volunteers.

So far over £8,000 has been raised which is fantastic and will help to provide lots of local families with the essential items that they desperately need.

We are already thinking of how to make next September's event even bigger and better! Maybe see you there on Sunday 26th September.

Local businesses are invited to join us for our Business Networking Event on Wednesday 4th November from 10am to noon at The Old Horse on London Road!

Our networking events are relaxed, friendly and informal. Everyone will have the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves to the room, and we will hear a short talk from Nick at on 'Writing a Will'.

£10 donation to attend (free for our Business Club Members). Find out more information and book your ticket on our website or email us at [email protected] to be added to the guest list and pay on the day.

The role also involves identifying and applying to relevant organisations and individuals for additional support. We’re delighted to share that Charity Link has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification — a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to protecting the people, partners and communities we serve.

Cyber Essentials Plus builds on the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme by independently testing security controls on real devices and systems, providing additional assurance that the protections we have put in place work in practice.
