Calling all young creatives across Leicestershire! 🌟

Can your child inspire kindness through art or poetry?

We’re inviting children to take part in our Kids Competition by creating a poster or poem that shows the importance of giving charity locally and supporting our community. ❤️

👧 Age Categories: 🖍️ 4–6 years 🎨 7–9 years ✏️ 10–12 years

🏆 Prizes in EACH category: 🥇 1st – £100 🥈 2nd – £75 🥉 3rd – £50

📅 Entry Deadline: 21 August at 6:00 PM

LZF supported a brother seeking asylum in the UK who lives in a hotel and receives just £9 a week. Our emergency grant helped him buy basic necessities.

This is just one story. There are many more people who need your support.

☕️🌻 Throwback to our Coffee Morning with LZF!

A morning of connection, creativity and community as we shared the work of LZF, our impact across Leicestershire, and ways to get involved through volunteering and upcoming events.

From our Kahoot quiz and cookie decorating to planting sunflower seeds, each activity reminded us that every good deed starts as a small seed. With Allah’s permission, those seeds can grow into lasting benefit providing food, shelter and hope for those in need, while bringing reward in the akhirah.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to and for supporting the event. 💙
