This is who your zakah is helping.

LZF supported a brother seeking asylum in the UK who lives in a hotel and receives just £9 a week. Our emergency grant helped him buy basic necessities.

This is just one story. There are many more people who need your support.

☕️🌻 Throwback to our Coffee Morning with LZF!

A morning of connection, creativity and community as we shared the work of LZF, our impact across Leicestershire, and ways to get involved through volunteering and upcoming events.

From our Kahoot quiz and cookie decorating to planting sunflower seeds, each activity reminded us that every good deed starts as a small seed. With Allah’s permission, those seeds can grow into lasting benefit providing food, shelter and hope for those in need, while bringing reward in the akhirah.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to and for supporting the event. 💙

Sometimes the people struggling most are closer than we think.

LZF exists to remind us that support, dignity, and community matter.

Let’s look out for our neighbours, uplift one another, and give where we can.

✨ The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are here. The most beloved days to Allah for righteous deeds.

A chance to renew our hearts, increase in worship, and draw closer to Him through salah, fasting, dhikr, charity, and sincere repentance. 🤍

May Allah accept our deeds, forgive our shortcomings, and allow us to witness the blessings of these sacred days. Ameen.

🌙 Don’t let these days pass by unnoticed.

Even one sincere act can change everything.

Zakah is more than charity

It’s a duty upon Muslims who have wealth to support those in need. Through giving, we help individuals and families struggling with hardship, creating pathways out of poverty and restoring dignity, hope, and stability.

Your Zakah has the power to change lives. 🤍
