Bowline Climbing Club Come and share the adventure! Rock climbing, bouldering, mountaineering, biking, walking. We welcome new members, with or without experience.

The Bowline Climbing Club is an active and friendly Leicester based club. It holds regular meets throughout the UK and further afield. As well as rock climbing and mountaineering, club members participate in many other outdoor activities. Most weekends club members go climbing in the Peak or go away for a meet. We also meet locally on Tuesday evenings for Bouldering/Climbing (and running/cycling i

BREAKING NEWS! - The details for the 38th Charnwood Hills Race are now up on the Bowline Climbing Club website https://www.bowlineclimbingclub.co.uk/hills-race

Entries open on Sunday 23rd November at 8pm over on EntryCentral. They usually sell out very fast (often in under 20 minutes) so make sure to be ready on time.

If you want to guarantee yourself an entry for the 2027 race you (or someone you know) could volunteer to help on the race day (particularly with marshalling). Volunteers get a guaranteed place for the next year's race which can be transferred to a friend or family member. Contact our volunteer co-ordinator [email protected]
