Movers at Cosby Yarn Bomb

Where: Meet at Attenborough Arts Centre, Lancaster Road, LE1 7HA
OR
The Bunning Hall - 25 Main St, Cosby, Leicester LE9 1UW

When: Saturday 11 July 2026
10:30am for an 10:45am departure from Attenborough Arts Centre
Or
11:30am at Bunning Hall.

What:
We will be performing 2 x 10 minute performances
12:15pm and 1pm.
We will be at Cosby from 11:30am-1:30pm
We will be finished by 1:30pm if you are booking a taxi or a lift.
We will be back at Attenborough Arts Centre by 2pm.

Parking at Bunning Hall is very limited, the village will be very busy.
There are toilets on site.
You will need to bring money for drinks and a cake if you would like one. Your belongings will be kept safe by a committee member.

You Need to Bring:
Water.
Snacks/lunch.
Some money if you want to purchase an ice cream/cake.
Suncream.
Any medicine you need to take. (You are responsible for keeping it cool/appropriate storage.)
A beach towel.
A suitcase.

You need to wear:
Suitable footwear for dancing/moving on uneven grass.
A sunhat
Summery clothes. (Anyone wearing a skirt must have shorts on underneath)
Please arrive in your Movers t-shirt.

Hi all - Due to the extreme heat and Amber Health Warning, there will be no session tomorrow - Tuesday 23 June.

HELP! We are in need of a Treasurer to take over from our current helper.

The committee meets 4-5 times a year, the subs are taken in cash weekly and kept safe, and then need paying-in roughly every quarter. The cheques need signing to pay freelancers 3-5 times a year and then you just need to keep paying our insurance annually..

It's a very small commitment but important to us because Charlotte cannot be Artistic Director, Secretary, AND pay herself. 😬

Please help us find a new volunteer to join our committee and keep Movers independent (and running!)

Happy Easter!! With love from Movers!

We were exploring animals in predicaments, and we decided to film these short sketches - especially as we really enjoy watching our work back and keeping the memories!

We've got a mini series, so enjoy while you're scoffing your Easter Eggs! 🐣

We were back in the Werkroom yesterday and made some time to think about our goals, hopes, dreams and wishes for 2026.

And the most common thing was - more performances!
So I guess we better start booking in some dates!!
