A huge thank you to all of the young people who took part in our recent Infinite Museum residency sessions.🙏

Over the course of the residency, participants explored immersive storytelling, creative world-building, and digital making through a mix of hands-on workshops, discussion, experimentation, and VR development processes.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at some of the activity and development work taking place during the residency.

Giving young people the opportunity to explore immersive storytelling through VR and hands-on creative activities in schools.

Using immersive VR experiences alongside traditional crafts and creative making, the MBD and Story Tellers Lincs sessions encourage young people to discover local stories in new ways while building confidence, creativity, and digital skills.

Projects like this are a really important part of how we approach outreach, learning, and creative development through immersive technology.

📣New Young People Residency coming up!

As part of the Infinite Museum project, supported by the South & East Lincolnshire Partnership’s NPO, Story Tellers Lincs, and delivered in collaboration with MBD and SessionsArts, we’re launching two sessions of a one-day residency focused on digital skills for young people aged 8-12 yrs and 11-16 yrs.

Across the residency, young people will explore immersive technology, creative digital tools, and work to create 3D digital objects and stories to be added to the Infinite Museum VR Experience for audiences to enjoy.

This is a hands-on opportunity to learn new skills, work with creative technologists, and help shape the next chapter of the Infinite Museum.
