I am inquiring if you would like to work in collaborative partnership with the One Leicester festivals 'Jam 4 Jamaica' charity concert we are planning for 29th November 2025 at the African Caribbean Centre, Maidstone Road, Leicester, LE2 0UA between 9.00pm to 2.00am. All proceeds raised will be used to support vital hurricane Melissa relief.
This emergency event will give us an opportunity to raise much needed funds to help the people of Jamaica; build professional/personal links; support African heritage creatives and increase greater African heritage communal unity in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.. Want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money to aid UK charity Second Genesis as we aim to support the victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica and other affected Islands. The devastation wrought by hurricane Melissa on Jamaica on the 28th October 2025 shocked the world. An event of this magnitude had never been felt in this part of the world in its history. Any and all support given to the people of Jamaica and surrounding islands will be essential for recovery.
We recognise that we could never know the best way your charitable funds would be best used in Jamaica, living here in Britain. Therefore, funds raised from the 'Jam for Jamaica' charity concert at the African Caribbean centre, Leicester, LE2 0UA, UK on the 29th November 2025 will be given directly to the Jamaican government to help provide relief for those critical developmental areas, they know need immediate attention.
