1st Worthington units have enjoyed a busy term, highlights include a STEM session at Rolls Royce for the brownies and the City Scapes adventure in York for the Guides. All sections also attended the District Snow Dome and Midlands Drayton Manor events.
Packington Rainbows had a lovely time on their annual visit to the Paddington statue in Ashby.
Donisthorpe Guides and Rangers had lots of fun supporting the Moira Canal Trust by running the duck race at the Moira Canal Festival. They also created a piece of art for the David Attenborough themed Ashby Outdoor Gallery. They took a walk around the gallery to admire all the artwork and see how many 'Davids' they could spot.
5th Coalville Guides have been busy working on the Girlguiding Midlands Civil Engineering Challenge. They were challenged to make a bridge from newspaper and straws which they could drive a remote control car over, they also made emergency hurricane shelters from tarps and canes, and learnt the principles of road construction by making chocolate asphalt.
