NCT Leicester City & County Branch We are the charity that supports people as they become parents.

Our vision is that everyone who becomes a parent feels confident, connected, and safe because we believe parents help build the foundations of the future. Every year NCT supports over 250,000 parents on their unique journeys through pregnancy, birth, infant feeding, and into early parenthood. We connect, inform and support parents through our antenatal and postnatal courses, peer support programmes, and community-based events. We provide access to evidence-based information through our website and free Infant Feeding Support Line 365-days a year. For 65 years we have created transformative change in the lives of parents, acting as a trusted voice, reassuring presence, and strong advocate. Today, we have a huge opportunity to positively influence the experience of millions more people as they become parents and to shape a bright future together.

Antenatal education isn't just about preparing for labour and birth, it’s about the practicalities of life with a newborn👶

In an NCT course, Session 3 will cover changing a nappy, bathing your baby, safer sleep and some potential 'early days' scenarios. Alongside other local parents-to-be, it's a chance to build your confidence and ask questions in a supportive, welcoming space.

NCT and Mamas & Papas share one mission: to help new and expectant parents feel prepared, connected, and supported as they navigate life with their little ones.
