Western Park Bandstand hosts the annual celebration of music and fellowship in West Leicester. All welcome for games in the park, followed by an informal session of music, readings and an interactive drama piece kids can get involved with. Featuring input from different local groups, the main session should be around 40 minutes, starting at 4pm, followed by ice cream from the retro cart.

One final summer holidays Youth Choir session this week. From 3:30pm at St Anne's Hall on Wednesday 12th August. Music session is 4:15-5:15pm. New members welcome to try it out for free. Year 5 and up.

It's our annual summer Playscheme next week. We should have a guest visit from the Leicester Transport Heritage Trust and their stylish 1968 Midland Red single-decker bus. If you want to bring some memories back, it will be outside St Anne's Hall around 1pm on Wednesday 12th August.

If you have bored kids then pop into St Anne's Hall next Saturday for the latest Messy Church. Arts + crafts, some amateur dramatics, music and a shared meal. Free but donations welcome.
