This time 5 years ago, our club and all those connected to it had entered into a period of time that will be forever known as the darkest hours in our history!
None of us will ever forget the events of that night, nor will we forget those who lost their lives!
Forever in our hearts, forever blue.
Rest in peace

With the memories and emotions of this tragic day still so fresh, so raw, in the hearts and minds of so many, its hard to believe that today marks 4 years since our clubs darkest hour.

On this day, 27th October 2018, nobody could have imagined that a seemingly ordinary football match would end in such horrific circumstances and the loss of 5 lives.

Our beloved chairman Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, Nusara Suknamai, Kaveporn Punpare, Eric Swaffer and Izabela Roza Lechowicz (may they rest in peace), went to work, never to return home.

To their families and to us Leicester City supporters whom Khun Vichai had delivered so much joy before this day, it felt as though a huge hole had been torn in our hearts but it wasn't just our lives these people had touched! We have obvious reasons to remember them individually but in the days after such a tragic event, we were given another reason to not only remember, but to honour them forever more.

Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, Nusara Suknamai, Kaveporn Punpare, Eric Swaffer and Izabela Roza Lechowicz not only united the supporters of Leicester city and the people of Leicester, they brought together a global football community.

They proved that football rivalries or differences, mean nothing in times of grief or sadness and that a sport known to many as "the beautiful game", truly can be beautiful.

For that reason alone we must and will always remember them.
