Pedestrian We are a charity that provides education and training to young people at risk and adults in challenging circumstances. We call this work 'Pioneering Potential'.

We are a charity that provides education and training to young people at risk and adults in challenging circumstances; individuals whom are often socially excluded and from disadvantaged backgrounds. With the right levels of support and timely intervention everyone can achieve their goals. Our programmes and courses develop confidence, emotional resilience and increase self-esteem. Our strong track record of delivering the very best in innovative and high quality activity has seen us complete over 14,000 workshops since 1998.

Today we celebrate World Mental Health Day, the theme this year is 'Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change'

Arts Council England () found through its Creative Young Lives survey of over 30,000 children and young people that almost three-quarters believe creativity is important to them. Yet, access to quality creative experiences remains unequal, particularly for those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

That’s why all our projects remove the barrier of cost and provide free refreshments, making creativity accessible to everyone.

Creativity gives us time to pause, process emotions, regulate feelings and express ourselves. Everyone deserves the opportunity to create, connect and thrive.

ReStitch Revolution is a free three-day creative project for young people aged 13–17, bringing together art, textiles, upcycling and creativity in a relaxed, welcoming space.

Across three days, you’ll work alongside professional artists to learn new skills including sewing, customisation, painting and creative ways to transform old clothes and materials into something completely your own.

You’ll get the chance to experiment, make, meet other young creatives and work on projects that reflect your own ideas and style. There will also be the chance to explore Whether you’re already into making things or have never felt creative before, everyone is welcome.

No previous experience is needed, just come along, get stuck in and see what you can create. At the end of the project, we’ll celebrate everything you’ve made with a showcase event at Queens Road Allotment site, LE2 3DF.

DATES: Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd October
