Wonderful news!

We've just heard that one of our Alternative Education learners has won The Rotary Foundation National Senior competition for her artwork!

This is such a fantastic achievement - going from regionals to nationals and smashing them both!

Our creative arts education plays a key role in helping young people thrive, building confidence, improving well-being and developing life-long skills. To support us, just like Leicester De Montfort Rotary Club has check out our website www.pedestrian.info

This year, Pedestrian turns 28!

And we’re celebrating the people who made it happen.

Over the next 12 months, we’ll be sharing the stories of those who helped build Pedestrian from the ground up and drive us to where we are now.

Meet Danny, our award winning 'Inspiring Leader of the Year' and longest serving member of staff. He has been a constant presence, a steady guide and an outstanding mentor to generations of young people in Leicester as well as the backbone of the organisation. There would be no tech if it wasn't for Danny and his incredible ability to fix things!

He has been a pivotal part of our Alternative Education Provision. Adapting and driving, he makes sure we have a safe, welcoming and creative space for young people to reach their full potential.

We are thrilled to be able to provide him with his own special workspace in the old vault in the new space!
