πΏ **The Great Big Green Week 2026** πΏ
As part of The Great Big Green Week 2026, we were delighted to deliver a range of activities focused on sustainability, wellbeing, and climate action.
Our community came together to:
π² Take part in free cycle training sessions
π± Hold sustainable living workshops and explore ways we can all live greener lives
π³ Enjoy nature walks to improve wellbeing and connect with the environment
β»οΈ Learn about the benefits of gardening and. composting, recycling, reusing, and upcycling
π Discuss practical actions we can all take to address climate change and helping organisations and residents better understand their role in tackling climate change.
The conversations and ideas generated during the week are already creating positive change.
As a result, we are now working closely with the management team at the Peepul Centre to explore new ways of reducing waste, increasing recycling, and making the centre more sustainable.
We are also exploring collaborations with local universities to introduce Carbon Literacy Training for community centres and groups.
Together, small actions can make a big difference. Let's all think green, act green, and do our part to protect our planet for future generations. π
