Wyggestons focuses on providing top quality affordable rented housing accommodation, support and care services for people of 60 years of age and over who are in need.

🎉🎂 A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR LOVELY BABS! 🎂🎉

What a special afternoon we had today celebrating our lovely resident Barbara’s special birthday! 🥳💐❤️

We wanted to make her day extra special, so we arranged a wonderful Shirley Bassey tribute, as Shirley has always been Babs’ favourite singer! 🎤✨

Babs absolutely loved every minute, singing along and enjoying the wonderful entertainment. It was so lovely to see her smiling and having such a fantastic time. ❤️🎶

Making special memories like these is what it’s all about, and we’re so pleased we could make Barbara’s birthday one to remember! 🥰

👩‍🍳🧁 Cook Club Fun This Morning! 🧁👩‍🍳

This morning our lovely residents got busy in the Cook Club, making some delicious homemade scones! 🥰

There was plenty of mixing, rolling, flour everywhere and, of course, lots of smiles along the way! 😂🤍 The residents really enjoyed getting stuck in and having a bit of fun — even if things got a little messy! 🙌👩‍🍳

We’re hoping our homemade scones taste as delicious as they look! 😋🍓☕️

🎶✨ What a wonderful afternoon! ✨🎶

This afternoon our lovely residents had the pleasure of welcoming our new entertainer, Dan Sinatra! 🎤🎶

The residents absolutely loved every minute of the entertainment — there were plenty of smiles, singing along and happy faces throughout the afternoon. ❤️😊

It was so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and having such a fantastic time together.

A big thank you to Dan Sinatra for entertaining us and making it such a special afternoon! 🌟🎶

💚☕ WHAT AN AMAZING MACMILLAN MORNING! ☕💚

What a fantastic morning we had today at Agnes House, Wyggestons, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support! 🌟

We had such a wonderful turnout and lots going on — raffle tickets, tombola, a fabulous cake stall, teas and coffees, delicious scones with clotted cream and plenty of lovely company! 🧁☕️🎟️

A very special thank you to Georgia for making a beautiful large homemade cake, which we auctioned off and raised an amazing £30 from! 🎂👏

And the best news of all… 🥁💚

🎉 WE RAISED OVER £600 FOR MACMILLAN! 🎉

We are absolutely thrilled! A huge thank you to everyone who donated, baked, bought raffle tickets, supported our stalls, came along, helped out and made the morning so special. Every penny will help support Macmillan and the incredible work they do. 💚

And after all that hard work, our residents enjoyed a lovely fish and chip lunch together — the perfect way to finish off a brilliant day! 🐟🍟😊

🌞🚤 What a Wonderful Day Out! 🚤🌞

Today, we took our lovely residents on a fantastic trip with the Peter Le Marchant Trust in Loughborough, enjoying a wonderful barge trip along the waterways. 🛥️💙

The sun was shining, the scenery was beautiful, and there were plenty of smiles and happy memories being made along the way. ☀️😊

After our barge adventure, we headed off to the plough inn, where everyone had a lovely meal taking in all the sights and enjoying the atmosphere. 🚜🌾

It really was an absolutely amazing day! Our residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and it was lovely to see everyone having such a wonderful time together.

After a busy and memorable day, we climbed back onto the coach and headed home — tired but very happy! 🚌❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our day so special. We can’t wait for our next adventure! 🌟

Today we were entertained by the wonderful Dean Thomas, and what a great time our residents had! 🕺💃🎤

There was plenty of singing, dancing, laughter and lots of smiles as Dean had everyone entertained. It was wonderful to see our residents joining in, tapping their feet and enjoying the music. ❤️

A huge thank you to Dean Thomas for coming along and putting on such a fantastic performance for us. You certainly helped make our afternoon a very special one! 🌟🎶

🌟 EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTH! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Lauren and Kira on being chosen as our Employees of the Month! 🥳👏

These two amazing ladies have gone above and beyond, not only in their day-to-day work caring for our residents, but also by taking on an incredible skydive challenge to help raise money for our Digital Rainbow Table! 🪂💜🌈

What an amazing thing to do to support such a fantastic cause. Your courage, dedication and commitment are truly appreciated, and we couldn’t be prouder of you both! ❤️

Well done, Lauren and Keira — very well deserved! 🏆👏
