Join us tomorrow at Musical Village!

At Musical Village, we believe music should be accessible, enjoyable and welcoming for everyone.

Our Vocal Wellbeing Hub offers a relaxed and supportive space to connect with others, enjoy singing, build confidence and experience the many benefits of music.

Alongside singing, we explore a different theme each week through stories, images, discussion and shared learning. From culture and heritage to special celebrations and musical memories, every session offers something new to discover.

Why not come along and give it a try?

Thursday 17th September, 1.15pm to 2.30pm at Glenfield Parish Council, Park House, Stamford Street, Glenfield, LE3 8DL

A lovely morning at Countesthorpe Hub today celebrating Ukraine through music, culture and community. 🇺🇦🌻

We explored Ukrainian traditions, folk music, dance, beautiful landscapes and the art of pysanky egg decorating, with plenty of singing. I was delighted to wear my traditional Ukrainian embroidered blouse and share a little of my heritage with the group.

Thank you to everyone who came along and joined in. 💙💛

🚨 Musical Village News 🚨

Today marks an exciting new chapter as Musical Village officially becomes a Community Interest Company.

This is an important step for the organisation and will help support the continued development of our Vocal Wellbeing Hubs, Community Choir, Pop Stars Club and wider community programmes.

While our structure is changing, our mission remains the same:

• Bringing communities together
• Enriching Health & Wellbeing
• Helping everyone find their voice

Thank you for being part of our journey so far. We are excited about what the future holds for Musical Village and the communities we serve.

A lovely catch-up with some of the Countesthorpe hub peeps yesterday!

Christian reached the end of his 192 mile Coast to Coast trek yesterday in Robin Hood’s Bay after 12 days of hiking. Although he’s battling a lot of achy joints, the journey was one of the most amazing experiences with so many high points (quite literally). Thank you for all the support so far, and please continue to donate to this wonderful cause https://www.justgiving.com/page/christian-smaditch-1783402728067?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=WA

After leaving Cumbria, Christian entered the Yorkshire Dales on Sunday and is now over 120 miles in. This section of the walk has featured a lot of sheep and therefore a lot of sheep poo! The flatter terrain has provided some welcome respite for the blisters (almost as many blisters as sheep!). Final four days starts today as Christian enters the North York Moors… 70 miles to go! He’s doing this to raise money for Histio UK, a charity very close to our family. His fundraising link is below if you’d like to support his challenge. Thank you for your kindness and support.
