🌼 A lasting legacy of kindness at St Luke's Hospital 🌼

We're incredibly proud to have supported the transformation of the End of Life Suite garden at St Luke's Hospital, creating a peaceful space where patients and their loved ones can spend precious time together.

This special project was inspired by the family of Pamela Jill Barnett, who chose to raise funds in lieu of funeral flowers after receiving compassionate end of life care at the unit. Their generous donations, combined with matched funding from Raising Health and the hard work of volunteers from AXA, helped bring a shared vision to life.

Together, family members, friends, colleagues and volunteers rolled up their sleeves to w**d, plant, paint and revitalise the garden, creating a welcoming and reflective environment for future patients and families. 🌿💛

A huge thank you to everyone involved, particularly Amy Gray and Pamela's family for turning their gratitude into a lasting legacy, and to the AXA volunteers who gave their time and energy to make such a difference.

🌟 What a fantastic evening at the Annual Celebrating Excellence Awards! 🌟

As the charity for LPT, we were proud to support the Trust’s Communications Team in bringing this special event to life. From securing sponsorship and coordinating suppliers to organising the raffle and goody bags, it was a privilege to play a part in such a special celebration.

A huge thank you to Tilbury Douglas, our headline sponsor, for helping to make the evening such a success. We'd also like to thank Central Print for their valued sponsorship, and Boden and Next for providing the wonderful goody bags enjoyed by everyone who attended.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our raffle prize donors, whose generosity helped us raise over £525 for Raising Health. Special thanks to the local Tesco and Morrisons Community Champions, The Athena for donating a bottle of ch*****ne, and Harriet Robinson for her beautiful artwork!

The evening was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible achievements, dedication and excellence of colleagues across our Trust.

🌟 A huge thank you to Faye Murray and the team at Boden for welcoming us to the Glenfield office this week and giving us a fantastic tour! 🌟

It was wonderful to learn more about the incredible work you do and to see first-hand the importance Boden places on staff health and wellbeing.

We are incredibly excited to be working together and look forward to joining you to mark World Mental Health Day. It will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the importance of mental health, speak with staff about health and wellbeing, and share how Raising Health supports vital projects across local communities.

We’re delighted to share that we are a finalist in the Health Tech Awards 2026 for the most promising pilot category!

The nomination recognises our work funding Flow Neuroscience headsets for mental health crisis services. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we raised £40,000 in just 12 months, enabling the purchase of 150 headsets and helping more people access innovative treatment and support for depression.

We’re incredibly proud to see this work recognised nationally and look forward to the winners being announced on 7 October. 🤞

💙 What a year. What an impact. 👏 👏 👏

We're delighted to publish our Impact Report 2025/26, with key highlights shared yesterday at the Trust's AGM.

The report showcases the remarkable projects made possible through charitable funding across our Trust. These initiatives go beyond NHS core funding to deliver added value, create opportunities, enhance environments, support innovation and improve experiences for patients, service users, carers and staff.

The achievements within these pages are a testament to the power of generosity, partnership and community support. Our heartfelt thanks to the many funders, donors, charitable trusts and foundations that have supported us throughout the year. Their investment in our vision has enabled us to bring ambitious projects to life, creating lasting benefits for the people who use our services and the colleagues who deliver them.

We couldn't be more proud of the impact we've achieved together, and we're excited to continue building on this success in the year ahead.

🎮 Did you catch this story in our Summer Newsletter?

We're proud to support our Children's Physiotherapy Service with the help of the fantastic Starlight Children's Foundation - UK.

Thanks to their generous donation of a Nintendo Switch, games and accessories, children and young people aged 0-18 can use gaming as part of their therapy sessions. Gaming provides a fun and engaging way to develop fine and gross motor skills, helping to enhance the therapy experience for the children and families we support.

A huge thank you to the Starlight Foundation for their continued support of our services. 💙

🌟Yesterday, the Raising Health team was delighted to join the REACH Staff Network in celebrating South Asian Heritage Month.🌟

From powerful stories of resilience, identity and bringing your authentic self to work, to fascinating insights into beekeeping and honey-making, the event was filled with inspiration, learning and laughter. 🐝🍯

A huge thank you to Leicester Bhangra Classes for their fantastic gift-in-kind contribution. Their vibrant performance and interactive workshop had everyone smiling, dancing and embracing the spirit of the celebration. 💃🎶

What a wonderful occasion the Long Service Awards were yesterday! 🎉

The Raising Health team was proud to support this fantastic event, celebrating and recognising the incredible achievements of more than 160 staff members and 2 volunteers.

From those reaching an amazing 15 years of service to colleagues celebrating an outstanding 40 years, it was a truly special day dedicated to recognising commitment, dedication, and the difference our people make every day.

A huge thank you also to our wonderful sponsor Tilbury Douglas, and to Christopher Houlder for attending the event and generously donating Amazon vouchers as raffle prizes. Events like these would not be possible without the support of our corporate sponsors, our charity, and everyone who helps make them happen.

We feel incredibly lucky to have been part of such a memorable celebration.
