Another wonderful evening of friendship and fun with a lesson on making boxes out of recycled Christmas cards. Ably taught by Dilys, even the most uncreative of us enjoyed the evening. The boxes will be filled with sweets and hung on our tree at the Wigston Reform Church Christmas Tree Festival. Afterwards the boxes will be donated to a local food bank.

We were honoured to welcome our National President, Carol Hamilton-King, to our Pamper and Well-being Evening. Having saved the blue decorations from our ‘Turn September Blue’ Charter Party, we had a 2nd Blue themed evening for Carols challenge in support of Alzheimer’s.

WHAT A PARTY!!
When invited by Tangent National President, Carol Hamilton-King, to have a blue event for Alzheimer Month, which coincided with our 13th Charter, we knew what to do.
Unfortunately due to illness all plans had to change - so our Chair offered her house and games, quizzes, darts and a silent disco formed the entertainment. Add in food and a little drink 🍸 😉 and the party was formed.
Wishing Dee a speedy recovery and thanks to the committee for arranging the charter party at the last minute.

A lovely afternoon in our Vice Chair June’s beautiful garden enjoying fun and friendship with a delicious afternoon tea, beautifully made and served by June, Cath & Sue.
We were pleased to welcome a new member, Debbie, who was inducted by our Chair June.
Gillian was presented with a cup for winning this year’s crazy golf tournament and Cindy won our raffle prize with all donations going to our charity this year, Community Wishes.

A daytime trip with lunch or an evening stroll on a gorgeous summer evening around Cosby Yarn Bomb.
What creative people Cosby have, we were amazed at the fantastic display. We did have two of our own members who were involved; Linda with her Bra Fairy and Deb with her butterflies.
