This week, our Scout Team Leader, Will, welcomed Holly to our Cub Section as our new Cub Team Member. 🐺

It's always a special moment to invest a new leader who is ready to give their time to teach our young people skills for life. The adventure ahead will be filled with laughter, muddy boots, and unforgettable memories!

🎄 CHRISTMAS ACTIVITY DAY 🎄

Today we have had our annual Christmas activity day, with all sections enjoying a variety of activity bases including, gingerbread decorating, origami Christmas tree making, Christmas crackers, puppets, card making, word searches and colouring in!

We also held a badge presentation at the end where the young people got awarded the badges they had been working towards over the last term!

🍁WE'RE BACK🍁

We've had a few busy weeks back at 4th Leek after our summer break!

Cubs have been working towards their digital makers badge, creating moving images attaching sounds and colours to their pictures. They have also worked towards a pack forum, picking out badges they can work towards at home, including their book reader and animal carer badges📚🐶

Scouts have done some fire lighting to hone their skills and played wide games at Consall Scout Camp on their first week back after the summer. 🔥
Last week, Scouts took part in their pioneer badge, constructing simple structures and improving their knots and lashing skills too! 🪢

🌞 SUMMER BREAK🌞

4th Leek are currently on our summer break! Whilst we are away, have a look at some of the photos of what we have been getting up to before we broke up!

You will notice our young people receiving awards, these include our Beaver, Cub and Scout of the year awards, Chief Scout Bronze and Chief Scout Silver Award, the highest awards for Beavers and Cubs.

Another award that has been awarded is the long service award to Tony, who has helped with our group for ⭐60 years⭐. A big Congratulations to Tony and many thanks for all of his continued hard work.

At the end of summer, we said Goodbye to Jonathan, our Scout Leader who has moved onto new pastures. Jonathan has been great with our group and we wish him all the best.

Our group is forever growing and so any help would be massively appreciated to keep our group thriving. No experience is needed and any help is welcome, just message our page 🤗

We welcomed Ann to our Cub section as our Assistant Cub Lead Volunteer in June. She's taken everything in her stride and we welcome fresh ideas into our pack🐺
